1. Turn Off the Water

2. Install the Water Supply Line
If you don’t have plumbing set up for the washing machine, you’ll need to install your own. You can do this by locating the water supply line, cutting the pipe, and installing a tee fitting. Next, connect a new length of pipe from the tee fitting to where the washer will be placed.
3. Connect to the Drain
The washing machine will need a way to drain used water. If your laundry room lacks drainage, you can install a drain pipe using the same method outlined above. However, instead of tapping into the water supply line, this pipe will connect to the drainpipe.
5. Connect Washing Machine
If you already have the plumbing in place, you can skip ahead to this step. All you have to do is remove the old machine and connect the new one to the drain and supply connections. You will also need to level the unit and plug it into a power source. Be sure to do a test run to ensure there aren’t any leaks!
